In 2025, Anitra was honored as an Ohio‑nominated R&B/Soul Artist and invited to perform at the Ohio R&B Music Festival Showcase, where she shined as an independent artist, demonstrating her vocal versatility, commanding presence, and undeniable artistry. That same year, she released her LP Invitation Only, a dynamic body of work blending sultry ballads with high‑energy tracks that showcase the full spectrum of her musical identity. Its standout single, Shrimp On The Barbie, became an instant success, earning national radio rotation in major cities including Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, and New York.

In 2026, Anitra expanded her creative footprint with her directorial debut, bringing her vision to the music video for award‑winning artist/songwriter/producer Jayshawn Champion and his single Accountability, a milestone that highlights her evolving artistry behind the camera as well as on the mic.
